About the AOGIA

The Anglican Office for Government and International Affairs exists to be a voice for biblically faithful Anglicans to government leaders and to equip the church to think critically and act Biblically as a public witness in the world today.

Our Mission

The Anglican Office for Government & International Affairs provides official representation for the ACNA and its affiliated ministries on Capitol Hill, engaging with members of Congress and relevant committees, to federal departments such as the US Departments of State, Defense, and Veterans Affairs. The AOGIA also represents the views of Biblically faithful Anglicans to the US Supreme Court through the filing of amicus briefs.

Internationally, the AOGIA represents the concerns of Biblically faithful Anglicans at International political and governmental organizations including establishing a formal representative office at the United Nations. The office also connects with US diplomatic offices overseas to advocate on behalf of those in persecution. Additionally, the office and its services are extended to fellow Anglican provinces on a case-by-case basis, as need arises.
